Hi readers 👋, ready for another blog review 😉?
This book did not have an ending which I like. It is what I expect and want, NO DOUBT, but the ending did not go as I had expected. Why? You will know 🔜.
So, ten people are called together for a party together by someone MYSTERIOUS. They come and 😮. Everyone is literally KILLED one by one. It is their punishment (according to the mysterious murderer) for crimes they committed knowingly or unknowingly. One of the lady dies due to overdose of medicine with cynide (if I am not wrong). The last girl’s death is really what they call a “cold-blooded murder”. She has a history with a boy who died by accident, though she was only JOKING, it seems 😃. She is suddenly left all alone with all her partners’s dead bodies right in front of her. She suddenly hears someone ordering her around. She is now hypnotized by that voice of a man who directs her to her room. And 😳! SHE COMMITS SUICIDE 😱.
The book which I was gifted had police officers discussing who the actual murderer was, but in vain. One narrative was that the judge (who was one of the guests invited), murdered everyone and killed himself with a pistol. Another was that of a man who actually murdered them to exact revenge for causing harm to his family. But this narrative is not received by ME. BECAUSE WHY WOULD HE WAIT FOR SO LONG AND DO WHAT HE WANTS TO DO THEN AND THERE 🤔? It just leaves you hanging and an actual open book 😄 with no closure. And for someone like me, it IS WORRISOME 😟
Note: THERE IS ALSO A POEM IN THE BOOK WHICH I HAVE ATTACHED (I LOVE IT 😁🤭)👇
Ten little Indian boys went out to dine;
One choked his little self and then there were nine.
Nine little Indian boys sat up very late;
One overslept himself and then there were eight.
Eight little Indian boys traveling in Devon;
One said he’d stay there and then there were seven.
Seven little Indian boys chopping up sticks;
One chopped himself in halves and then there were six.
Six little Indian boys playing with a hive;
A bumblebee stung one and then there were five.
Five little Indian boys going in for law;
One got in Chancery and then there were four.
Four little Indian boys going out to sea;
A red herring swallowed one and then there were three.
Three little Indian boys walking in the zoo;
A big bear hugged one and then there were two.
Two Little Indian boys sitting in the sun;
One got frizzled up and then there was one.
One little Indian boy left all alone;
He went out and hanged himself and then there were none.
